Flowers and décor do a lot of quiet work on a wedding day. They set the color story, transform a room, frame your ceremony, and show up in nearly every photo you'll look back on. That's why, when couples tour Prospect House, one of the first teams we love to introduce them to is Native Bloom Floral. They're our in-house floral and design team, and their work goes well beyond bouquets and centerpieces, from ceiling draping and chandeliers to custom dance floors and lighting.

If you're planning a wedding in the Texas Hill Country and wondering how to bring your vision to life, from the flowers to the full design of your space, here's a closer look at who Native Bloom is, what they create, and why so many of our couples choose to work with them.

Native Bloom is a full-service floral and design studio based in the Texas Hill Country, just outside Austin. Their studio sits on-site at The Addison Grove, Prospect House's sister venue, and the team designs for weddings and events across the Heyens Hospitality family of venues.

Native Bloom was started by Matt and Jodi, the brother-and-sister team behind Heyens Hospitality, as a natural complement to the venues they'd built. Their goal was simple: give couples a design partner who already knows these spaces inside and out.

Today, the day-to-day team includes:

Carrie Fick-Sawyer, Lead Design Consultant

Jules Santoyo-Newhouse, Operations Manager

Kasen Hutton, Sales Consultant & Designer

Their Design Style

Native Bloom's work draws heavily from the landscape around their studio. Expect organic shapes, layered textures, and arrangements that feel collected rather than overly formal. That approach pairs especially well with Prospect House, where modern architecture by Texas architect Max Levy sits within open Hill Country views.

Whether your style leans clean and minimal, romantic and lush, or somewhere in between, the team designs around your vision and the space.

Styling the Bud Wall at Prospect House

One of the most recognizable spots at Prospect House is the bud wall, and it's where Native Bloom's range really shows. Because it works as a blank canvas, the same wall can look completely different from one wedding to the next.

Some couples keep it clean and minimal with a few sculptural stems, while others go full and lush with layered blooms, greenery, and seasonal color. Whatever your style, the team designs the bud wall to feel like a natural extension of the rest of your day.

Why Couples Choose Our On-Site Floral Team

Working with Native Bloom is completely optional at Prospect House, and you're always welcome to bring your own florist. That said, there are some real advantages to working with a team that's part of the venue family:

They know the space. From the main hall to the patio and ceremony lawn, they know the scale, the light, and what works where.

Less coordination for you. Timelines, load-in, setup, and teardown are already familiar to them, so there's one less vendor you need to manage.

Florals and décor in one place. Flowers, draping, lighting, and rentals can all be planned together, so the whole look feels cohesive.

Flexible service options. Native Bloom offers both full-service floral design and drop-off floral design, depending on what your day needs.

More than flowers: design ehancements at prospect house

Beyond bouquets and centerpieces, Native Bloom offers a handful of design enhancements made specifically for Prospect House. Installation, teardown, and labor are included with each.

Custom Dance Floors

An 18' x 18' dance floor gives you plenty of room for your first dance and the packed sets that follow. Choose from all white, black and white checkered, blue and white checkered, or maple and white checkered.

Lighting

String lighting can be added over the patio or ceremony lawn to carry the glow into the evening.

Disco Balls

Rent mixed-size disco balls for styling around the space, or go all in with the dance floor package, which hangs 14 disco balls above the dance floor.
